I’m a freelance copywriter and journalist. Specializing in content creation, I help clients stand out from the crowd in an increasingly noisy world. My goal is to ensure businesses, organizations, and individuals communicate effectively and connect efficiently with their audiences. A creative storyteller at heart, my expertise is public relations and marketing writing that creates engaging and compelling print and web content.
In addition to copywriting, editing and consulting, my feature articles have appeared in national and regional magazines. My work has been published in Hello Darling, Thriving Family, Family Fun, The Flame, Between the Lines, Biotech, Commerce, and Nature magazines.
Prior to launching my freelance business, I was a writer and public relations manager for an association management company. During my time in the corporate world, I successfully wrote eight client newsletters and all client press releases, position papers, and brochures. I also provided public relations consulting to a wide variety of clients on conferences, meetings, grants, and other projects.

I earned my BA in English from Oklahoma State University. I’m also a graduate of the American Writers and Artists Institute’s (AWAI) copywriting program and hold my certification in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Copywriting from the SEO Content Institute. I’m an avid reader and spend my non-writing time keeping up with industry marketing and PR trends.
